I did not use any anti chafe items and finished the race without chafing or sensitive spots and ran for 13 hours. These shorts are phenomenal. I carried my phone and it stayed in place. "The Session 7" Training Short 2N1 - highly recommend if. . . You would like compression shorts that don't compress EVERYWHERE. I have played several tennis matches in these shorts since receiving them, the are my go to for comfort, flexibility, support and functionality. These BN3TH shorts provide space to store your balls during active points (tennis balls that is), while the other set is taken care of and comforted in their pouch -- not all parts of the body need the same level of compression as your legs. The pouch provides support yes, but provides more comfort than other 2N1 shorts from others. Body parts just sit nicely in the Pouch while being effectively supported. These shorts are stylish and comfortable off the court as well. I have washed them at lease a dozen times now and showing no negative impacts from their new state. The draw string makes certain you are in control. Previous versions, years ago, lacked the drawstring and this is a game changer and brought me back. I find these fit normal to a little tighter, I went a size up as I am losing weight but not where I need to be yet. The size I bought will continue to fit well for me throughout the year.
