I’m the dad of two girls, Emma is 3 years old and Hannah is 1.5. We live out on the west coast in Ucluelet. I love spending time with my kids and am currently on pat leave.



I try not to force activities on Emma but surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding are what I grew up doing and still do, so there might be a nudge in that direction.

Daniel lives with his family on the West Coast of Canada, and surfing is a year round activity for him and his daughters. He loves to see them embracing the sports he grew up on.

We are an outdoor family so skateparks, beaches and hikes are always on the list. I started taking her skateboarding this spring and she began snowboarding this winter. Surfing is tougher but she’s into it. There’s a squad of mini groms that also helps motivate her. As a dad when your kid is stoked you are stoked and it is such an amazing feeling.
